"Family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children"

This statement was declared by the first presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The very unit that is being attacked from every side and declining in our society is central to God's eternal plan. Joseph Fielding Smith(modern day prophet of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ) stated: "Marriage according to the law of the church is the most holy and sacred ordinance.It will bring to the husband and wife, if they abide in their covenants, the fulness of exaltation in the Kingdom of God" (Doctrines of Salvation, 2:80). Our family relationships then should be of utmost importance to us. What could be more imortant? What could be more deserving of our time?
